This Privacy Policy explains how Kidodom ("Kidodom", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information across the Kidodom shopping website, the Kidodom customer mobile app, and the Kidodom Vendor mobile app (together, the "Services"). By using any of the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on which Service you use, we may collect:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (or sign-in identifier if you use Google or Apple sign-in).
• Order & address information: shipping addresses, order history, and items purchased.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store your full card, UPI, or bank credentials on our own servers.
• Vendor operational data (Kidodom Vendor app only): inventory, order fulfillment records, and short packing-verification videos recorded via the device camera and microphone (see Section 2 below).
• Device & usage data: basic technical information such as app version, device type, and crash/error logs, used to keep the Services working reliably.

2. Camera & Microphone Use (Vendor App)

The Kidodom Vendor app requests camera and microphone access solely to record a short packing-verification video when a vendor prepares an order for shipment. This video is used to confirm the correct items were packed and to resolve delivery disputes. It is uploaded securely to our servers, associated with the relevant order, and is not used for any other purpose, not sold, and not shared with advertisers.

3. How We Use Information

• To create and manage your account and process orders.
• To communicate with you about orders, support requests, and (if you opt in) promotional offers.
• To operate vendor order-fulfillment and packing-verification workflows.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
• To improve the Services.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Services (e.g. Razorpay for payment processing, hosting/infrastructure providers, delivery/logistics partners).
• Vendors, solely with the order and shipping details needed to fulfill your purchase.
• Law enforcement or regulators, only when required by applicable law.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and order information for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with our legal and accounting obligations. Packing-verification videos are retained only for as long as needed to resolve order/delivery disputes, after which they are deleted.

6. Your Choices & Rights

You can review and update your account information within the app or website. To request deletion of your account and personal data, see our Delete Your Account & Data page, or contact us directly at support@kidodom.in.

7. Children's Privacy

Kidodom sells products for children, but our Services are intended to be used by parents, guardians, and vendors — not directly by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
